Today I worked on a picture I got off of google. I started by adding a curves layer to darken the shadows and bring out the lighting. Then I added a Brightness/Contrast layer to brighten the sky. Then I added a hue saturation layer and inverted it so I could outline the red to make the color pop on the big dragon. Then I added a Color balance layer to bring out the red even more. Then I added a hue/saturation layer to the smaller dragon to change its color to blue. Then I added another curves layer to the full image.
Next I used another picture from google. I started by adding a hue/saturation layer and inverted it to change the color of the rock to grey. Then I added another hue/saturation layer to change the color of the sky. I inverted it so I wouldn’t change the colors of the rock and dragon. I don’t have time to finish the dragon so i’ll finish on the next free day.
Today I used a picture of me. I started by copping a layer and using the spot healing tool to remove a dark spot on my nose. Then I added a curves layer and brightness/contrast layer. Then I added a color balance layer to change the color of my shirt. After that I went to the national honors society meeting.
Today I started by using Athelas, regular, 94pt for my text. Then I changed the color to match one of the mountain layers. Then I added a Drop shadow form the effects panel. Opacity 79%, distance 25%, size 7%. Then added the layers to the library panel. (I think the drop shadow was pointless because you can’t really see its over the back mountain). Then I added a rock filter.
The next chapter was over art boards and saving and exporting arts boards. This chapter only had a few lessons. Then I went to career center.
Today I started on chapter 9. I started by learning more about brush essentials. I switching my workspace to “painting”. Then I messed around with some of the different brushes. I used some of the computational brushes. Then I learned how to change the brush tips with the brush tip panel. After that I learned how to use the legacy brushes.
Next I learned how to use the mixer brush. OI held downtime shift key and started painting a line through the colors. The mixer brush pulled the colors outwards. I used 100% opacity on the first one and 50% on the second one to add more wetness to the picture.
Next I used the Ellipse tool set to Path. Then I clicked and dragged out the ellipse holding the shift key to constrain the ellipse to a circle. Then from the brushes panel I chose the hard round pressure size brush and used the foreground color picker to choose a color. I used the flyout menu, stroke path, brush. I simulated the brush to stoke the path
Today I used a picture of a plant that I took and changed the colors with Hue/ Saturation and the curves adjustment tool. I changed to blue white and pink. Then I added. smart filter to change the form.
I went to give blood after this so I will finish it tomorrow.
